Luke 1:67-79

Zechariah is a simple man of faith, with an extraordinary experience. Yet, when his faith falters, God remains faithful. In Zechariah’s song, inspired by the Holy Spirit, he praises the God Israel, who has raised up Messiah to save us, and has chosen Zechariah’s son, John the baptist, to prepare the way, that all might be received by God in peace, and not in fearful judgment.
