Beth Gramling
Director
Beth has always loved working with younger children. She earned her dual certification in elementary and early childhood education from Millersville University. After graduating, she was the lead teacher in a three-year-old department at Rainbow Express Preschool. After moving to Western Pa, she taught in the public schools as a substitute, focusing on the younger grades K-2, and preschool at Giant Steps Preschool. In 1999, she moved back east to Bucks County, becoming the Friday kindergarten teacher at Neighborhood Learning Center (NLC). She continued in this role until she became a full-time homeschooling mom of her five children. She has successfully educated all five of her children from first grade through 12th grade while continuing to substitute at NLC. She became the Director of the Neighborhood Learning Center in 2022. She is also gluten-free, loves giraffes and Owls, and has a puppy named Sally!

Beth Brosius—Mrs. B
Teacher
Beth graduated from United Wesleyan College in Allentown, PA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education, soon afterward working for a daycare in a Nazarene church in Allentown. During this time, She met her Husband Dan and soon became Mrs. Brosius. They took a position in a church in Northern Virginia, working with children ranging from infants to school-age children. She worked there as a Teacher (with Dan as Director) for five years until we moved back to Pennsylvania.
In March of 1986, Dan accepted the position as director of Neighborhood Learning Center, and ran the school for 36 years! It was here where she not only became a teacher in the daycare and the nursery school but also adopted the title “Mrs. B”. Her warmest memories have been training the children and supporting the parents at NLC, all while being able to raise her own children and grandchildren in a loving and caring environment.

Wendy Piasecki
Teacher
Wendy has worked at Neighborhood Learning Center for over 25 years, having taught 3-year-old preschool, 4-year-old preschool and nurtured children in the daycare. Additionally, she has served for all these years as the NLC bookkeeper. She loves dogs and has raised a number of service animals.
Jo Ann Burmeister
Assistant Teacher
Jo Ann has served at NLC for over 20 years! Each day, She enjoys leading the opening, helping with craft time, and settling everyone down for naptime! She is a lover of camping and the outdoors. Be on the lookout for her dog Forrest, who is a beloved visitor here at NLC.
Samuel Gramling
Teacher Aid
Samuel Gramling is pleased to be the newest staff member of Neighborhood Learning Center. Being a helper in children’s church and his homeschool choir showed that Sam had natural abilities with children. His natural heart to serve makes him a wonderful teacher’s aide always willing to do what is asked of him and take any responsibility given to him. “Mr. Sam” has been well received by the children and has added his own creative touch to the Learning Center.
