I entered Childcare work as a 4-year-old teacher and school age teacher at creative learning center, Allentown PA. Assumed Director of Christian Fellowship Schools in Vienna Virginia from 1980 to 1985. In 1986 moved back to Pennsylvania and in March became Director of Neighborhood Learning Center.

Beth Brosius—Mrs. B

It has been here at Neighborhood Learning Center, where I fondly became known as Mrs. B, but there was time when I was simply known as Beth.

As young lady growing up, the second oldest of five children in my family, I always had a tender spot in my heart for children; and as a teen, I would do babysitting weekly for a friend of the family. I graduated from United Wesleyan College in Allentown, PA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education, soon afterward working for a daycare in a Nazarene church in Allentown.

During this time, I met my Husband Dan, and soon became Mrs. Brosius. We took a position in a church in Northern Virginia, working with children ranging from infants to school age children. I worked there as a Teacher (Dan as Director) for five years until we moved back to Pennsylvania.

In March of 1986, my husband, Dan, accepted the position as director of Neighborhood Learning Center. It was here where I not only became a teacher in the daycare and in the nursery school, but also adopted title “Mrs. B”.
My warmest memories have been training the children and supporting the parents at NLC, all while being able to raise my own children and grandchildren in a loving and caring environment.
