Philippians 2:9-11

^“Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted”. No one was humbled lower than Jesus. Therefore, God the Father has raised him higher, and has given him the name above every name: LORD. Paul — making his exhortation for christians to deny themselves and to instead prioritize others — records this early church hymn that describes the Humiliation and Exhalation of Jesus.
