Philippians 2:12-13

Sanctification is the process of setting apart as sacred, or making holy. For the believer, it is the development of godly living which reflects the character of Christ. This starts after justification (freedom of the penalty of sin) and takes place before glorification (freedom from the presence of sin). Yet, is this process, the freedom from the practice of sin, accomplished by man’s effort or is it an act of God? The apostle Paul’s exhortation to the Philippians, reveals the biblical answer to this difficult question.
