Leadership at Christ Community Church
Rev. Dr. Thomas C. Gramling Jr.
I’m a sinner saved by Grace, a follower of Jesus Christ.
I’m not perfect in practice, but I am in position as one redeemed by Jesus Christ.
I’m glad to be the husband of a wonderful wife, Beth, for nearly 30 years; and a very proud and happy Daddy of 5 adult children: Amy, Peter, Timothy, Melodie, Samuel.
My wife and I have served Christ Community Church since October 1999. Prior to this we served 2 Christian & Missionary Alliance Churches in Western Pennsylvania for nearly 8 years. I earned both my Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, PA; my undergraduate work was in Business Management at Penn State University. My wife and I were married here at CCC right after graduating from Seminary in 1991, and both have felt it a joy and privilege to pastor our first home church. My love is for the preaching and teaching of the Bible and being used by God to make it understandable and practical to all people. I am also known for a love of football (especially the Steelers and yes, the Eagles), baseball, hockey, and BBQ ribs! Since 2002 I have worked bi-vocationally for Clemens Grocery Stores, Bimbo Bakeries, Univest Bank, and as of late Giant Foods.
Theologically, I am committed to the great truths of the Protestant Reformation and the Sovereignty of God in all his dealings with men. I cannot wait for when faith shall become sight, and our LORD Jesus Christ will visibly, bodily, and gloriously return to Earth, just as He promised. When Christ’s Kingdom comes in all His fullness, there will be no more need for Preachers or Pastors like me: what a glorious unemployment! Until then, I will continue to lead the sheep at CCC, as long as God wills, to Love him and glorify his only son Jesus Christ.
